Born in Tochigi prefecture in 1959. Residing in Nikko.
He went to the USA in 1982 and received a scholarship from Andy Warhol.
He has traveled over 40 countries, lived in New York, Athens, Florence, Madrid for ten years, and will continue to release works.
Returned to Japan in 1992.
He has written numerous works : ”Ayahuasca”(published from Kodansha), "Rera, the Wind Child"(Aoyama Publishing), "Teonanacatl, the Gods' flesh" from Merkmal Publisher in 2012.
He is also famous for making Nierika woolen paintings of indigenous people and Wixarica (Huichol) who live in the mountainous region of Mexico.
