Born in Iwaki-shi, Fukushima Prefecture.
Worked at publisher 'Yayoi Shobo'. Studied under 'Noh painting' meister Masaki Iizuka (Imperial Household Agency).
Participated and exhibited in 'Nihon Noh ga In' 日本能雅院". Many solo exhibitions. She deceased in June 2006 (77 years old), the tomb is Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture.
According to Mr. Kunio Arai of "Shingado" at Jinbocho, Tokyo.... "After retiring from the publishing company,as a life of Noh painter, she devoted a whole heart to drawing Noh paintings.
Single for her whole life and she just worked hard on studying painting. Its style is dignifiedly profound.
Deep spirituality has backing of the her own life. She was indifferent to honor and financial greed, and had a deep piety.
She was a sincere and humble woman. As a painter, especially she has a reputation for the skill of the drawing line and the balance of the margin, way to take margins."
